Clemens Tegenkamp wanderte im Alter von 17 Jahren gemeinsam mit der Familie B. Aumann (Verwandschaft) auf dem Schiff "Hermann" von Bremen nach New Orleans aus (Schiff kam am 06.11.1854 in New Orleans an); von dort ging er nach Effingham County in Illinois (Green Creek); Clemens heiratete Mary Klausing; mit ihr hatte er 11 Kinder, die meisten wurden in Van Wert County, Ohio, geboren; Clemens ist in Allen County, Ohio, beerdigt (Informationen von M. Carter; e-mail: oh_stop_it@hotmail.com); Trauzeugen bei der Heirat mit Mary Klausing: John Eversmann, Maria Tegenkamp, Bernard Tegenkamp, Carolina Waschefort; siedeln 1864 nach van Wert nahe Delphos, Ohio;
Clemens Tegenkamp was 17 years old when he immigrated together with the family B. Aumann (relatives) to the U.S. on the ship "Hermann" from Bremen to New Orleans (the ship arrived in New Orleans on November 6th 1854), his occupation was stated as "laborer"; Clemens married Mary Klausing; they had together several children, most of them were born in Van Wert County, Ohio; Clemens is buried in Allen County, Ohio (informations from M. Carter; e-mail: oh_stop_it@hotmail.com); he settled over from Teutopolis to Delphos in the first month of 1864; Mary and Clemens had together 11 children; a lot of their descendants are living in the Delphos area;
