LAGRANGE, Ind. - Edmund R. Klausing, 68, 0565 S. 00 East-West, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in his home. He was born March 8, 1934, in Delphos, Ohio, to Hubert and Luella (Clement) Klausing. He married Barbara M. Sterling on Aug. 20, 1952, in Delphos. He was a retired foreman from Grumman Olson, Sturgis, Mich. He moved to LaGrange from Denver, Colo., in 1976. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Anthony C. (Sandra) Klausing, Groton, Conn., and Jeffrey W. (Dawn) Klausing, Kapolei, Hawaii; three grandchildren; three sisters, Adella Koester, Lima, Ohio, Helen Rushing, Nashville, Tenn., and Mary Paulissa, Toledo, Ohio; and a brother, Melvin Klausing, Ringgold, Ga. He was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Bobilya, on July 23, 1992. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Frurip-May Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Faroh officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
